She was a spirited Catholic young lady who showed heroic bravery, joy, and humour in the great City of London, a radical love of her Catholic Faith and the determination to face death in defence of the Church and the Catholic priesthood.
Set in Elizabethan England, her little known story is one to be admired, known and loved. Visuals were filmed about historic England including the Weald and Downland museum and Parham House and Estate.
A relevant and inspiring woman for today, Saint Margaret Ward tells her interesting and exciting story in a new film.
She is one of 3 women martyrs canonised with 37 men in 1970 and is one of the Forty Martyrs of England and Wales.
