Saint Jacinta Marto is one of three little Portuguese shepherds who were chosen by God to receive His message through Our Lady in Fatima, in 1917. Although only seven years old at the time, Saint Jacinta listened with great attention, giving her life to make reparation for the conversion of sinners, especially after having seen a vision of Hell. Although she died only a few years later, her short life was one of great heroic witness and powerful inspiration.
With special attention paid to Saint Jacinta Marto’s presence during the Fatima apparitions of the Angel of Peace in 1916, the six apparitions of Our Lady during 1917 and the remaining years of her life, this new Catholic film looks specifically at one of the three shepherd children chosen by God to give witness to His important messages through Our Lady.
This young Portuguese Saint has left us a relevant wealth of spiritual insights and example, especially on how to live the message of Fatima. She had a special love for sinners and offered heroic sacrifices for their conversion, imploring us to consecrate ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray the rosary and hear Our Lady’s message at Fatima.
