The Last Conversations of Therese, Carmelite
The Last Conversations of Therese:
Pope Saint Pius X called Saint Therese of Lisieux "the greatest Saint of modern times". During the last several months of the life of Saint Therese, known throughout the Catholic world as ‘the Little Flower’, her sisters in Carmel wrote down and preserved many of her beautiful and profound words which give us further insights into her thoughts and the spirituality of her Little Way. It is worth meditating separately on this final era of Saint Therese’s life for it offers Catholics a wealth of treasures for our own personal spiritual journeys. Saint Therese was only 24 when she died in her French Carmelite Convent but she immediately became one of our greatest loved Saints of the Church, canonised only 25 years after her death and named one of the Doctors of the Church in1997. Of this Pope St. John Paull II said “Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face is the youngest of all the “Doctors of the Church,” but her ardent spiritual journey shows such maturity, and the insights of faith expressed in her writings are so vast and profound that they deserve a place among the great spiritual masters” In this film we look at many of the last sayings of Saint Therese of Lisieux. Our unique film style has been internationally praised for not only presenting facts and biographical information but an authentically Catholic and prayerful film experience.
