The younger viewer will enjoy learning the lives of the Saints in our series especially produced for children. The lives of seven Saxon Saints are presented in a simple way with each short film running for between five and seven minutes and accessible from a simple start menu. With historical pictures, Sacred Art and original footage, the stories of seven more of our inspiring and heroic Saints are shown, explaining how they shared the Catholic Faith in England many centuries ago. Children will learn about:

Saint Etheldreda
Saint Wilfrid
Saint Winifred
Saint Werburgh
Saint Dunstan

The lives of these English Catholic men and women during the early history of the Catholic Church in England give great examples of courage, trust, prayer, friendship, joy, purity and love of Jesus and His Church. For personal reflection and education, or ideal as a resource for use in schools, Holy Communion Classes and families, these mini-movies are presented in an easy-to-use and enjoyable format.

What you will hear:

The lives of seven Saxon Saints each presented in a simple, detailed and factual narrative. Original music to accompany each biography.

What you will see:

Paintings, artwork, footage of wildlife and nature and interesting imagery presented to aid the narrative.

Length:

Each short film runs for approximately 5 minutes. The DVD length is approximately 35 minutes.

Target Audience:

The DVD is suitable for all ages but especially produced for primary school aged children. The series has proven excellent for use in classrooms with very positive feedback.
