David, Saint

Saint David of Wales:

"Be joyful, keep the faith, and do the little things." Saint David of Wales was a prayerful missionary monk of the 6th century who was called to do great things in little ways. Through his joyful simplicity, many miracles were worked that touched the hearts and minds of the men and women of his time. He founded an order of monks dedicated to prayer and holiness and kept his profound humility even when called upon to be Bishop. Pope Benedict XVI called him "one of the great saints of the sixth century, that golden age of saints and missionaries in these isles, and...thus a founder of the Christian culture which lies at the root of modern Europe." This spiritual, prayerful film presents Saint David's inspiring life and message.

In 2007 Mary's Dowry productions created a new form of film media to present the lives of the saints. Mary's Dowry Productions recreates stunning silent visuals, informative, devotional narration, and original contemplative music that touches your spirit to draw you into a spiritual encounter with the saint. Watch with your spiritual eye, listen with your spiritual ear. Our films seek to offer a window into the lives of our saints. Using your spiritual senses we invite you to shut out the world, sit prayerfully and peacefully and go on a journey of faith, history and prayer with saint David.
