Blessed Margaret Pole:
The Countess of Salisbury and the Last of the Plantagenet’s stood up against
the father of her goddaughter, the Princess Mary Tudor, when he set out to
destroy the Catholic Church in England. The Lady Margaret Pole was
eventually sent to the infamous Tower of London and finally beheaded by order
of King Henry VIII. From Cowdray House in Sussex, this film takes a look
at the life of an English woman whose journey was linked to the Tudor Monarchy.
