About
Bernadette Bevans has been writing music since the age of fourteen. Specialising in writing music as underscore to film and narrative, Bernadette has been compiling original albums for many years. Many of these include ancient English fusion music such as the early albums Lands, Journeys, Dreams and many more. Recently the Holy Spirit Series was inspired as a much more reflective and background type style and has been enjoyed by many for meditation and for chilling out on the train to work. Now also many soundtracks from the Mary's Dowry Productions are also being made available such as Cuthman, Etheldreda, Margaret Ward. Many of the CD albums such as Valleys have been used in films and film trailer for Mary's Dowry Productions.

About This Series:
This audio CD is Volume 7 in the Series of Music Albums "Reflective Ancient English Fusion Music". This is the earliest series of music written by Bernadette, begun in the late 1990s on simple piano and evolving to Clavinova and transforming what began with piano solo to a blending of unique instrumental styles. Valleys was started in 2011 with the title track names but worked on over many years, three tracks written by hand in 2014 and later arranged and recorded with audio in 2018 and 2019 and other tracks composed in the intervening years around film projects. The final tracks were composed and recorded at the end of 2019. The album uses favourite instruments such as recorder, viola, cello and some wonderful soundscapes from Eduardo Tarilonte. The moods are varied, some sombre and reflective and some akin to folk dances but in a contemporary style unique to Bernadette's original style of composition.
